Record a lead's answers to questions with a barcode scanner
You will need a printed sheet of answer barcodes to perform this task. It doesn't matter whether you're using standard questions or custom questions.
- Always start by scanning the barcode on the visitorA person who registers to attend an event.'s badge.
When you scan answers, they are automatically associated with the most recently scanned badge.
- Scan the barcodes of the relevant answer(s) on your sheet.
- Repeat steps 2-3 for any additional questions the leadA lead is a person who represents a sales opportunity for your company. answers.
The lead's details and their answers will be stored in the scanner as a single lead record. When you bring the scanner to the organiser or Visit Connect desk they can synchronise your data. You can then view your leads through the Visit Connect web portalThe Visit Connect web portal is where you manage your accounts, licences and leads.. (see Visit Connect web portal). Ideally, you should synchronise your scanner data daily.
