By answering questions, you gain greater insight into your target audience, enabling you to follow up on your leads much more effectively (see also Example custom questions).
Standard questions vs. custom questions
To help you get started, we provide a set of four blank, standard questions titled Employee, Product, Follow-up and Custom. Each question has 10 numbered answers, for which you can make up your own descriptions outside the portal (e.g. on a piece of paper).
However, it's much more convenient to set up your own, custom questions. You can enter your own text for each custom question and answer. After you create your questions, you may want to disable the standard questions.
Depending on the lead collection method, your stand personnel will record answers to your questions in one of two ways:
- If your stand personnel are using the Visit Connect app, each time they capture a lead, your questions appear directly in the app and can be answered there.
- If your stand personnel are using a barcode scanner, they can record answers by scanning barcodes on specially printed sheets (see Record a lead's answers to questions with a barcode scanner). Before the event, you should print these sheets from the Visit Connect web portal.
