You can use a question list to gather information about your leads. In turn, with this insight you'll be able to follow up on your leads much more effectively.
Standard versus custom question list
To help you get started, we provided a set of standard questions titled Employee, Product, Follow-up and Custom. Each question has 10 numbered answers, for which you can make up your own descriptions outside the portal (e.g. on a piece of paper). For example you could consider setting up the first three answers for Employee as CEO, purchasing manager, worker.
However, it's much more useful to set up custom questions. You can enter your own text for each custom question and answer. After you create your questions, you may want to disable the standard questions. To help you get started, we've provided a list of Example custom questions such as "What is your buying cycle?".
Qualifying leads with answers to your questions.
Depending on the lead collection method, your stand personnel will record answers to your questions in one of two ways:
- If your stand personnel are using the Visit Connect app, they can view the questions and enter answers directly in the app.
- If your stand personnel are using a barcode scanner, they can record answers by scanning barcodes on specially printed sheets (see Record a lead's answers to questions with a barcode scanner). Before the event, you should print answer sheets from the Visit Connect web portal and distribute the answer sheet to your stand personnel for use during the event.
